The Downside of Multi-tasking

A Washing Post article by Daniel Willingham, Professor of Psychology, at the University of Virginia recommends that young people should be encouraged to focus on one task at a time, rather than multi-tasking.

Willingham argues that there is good evidence that multi-tasking is seldom a good idea and that doing two, or more, things at the same time is detrimental.  There is a video embedded in the article in which Willilngham explains his ideas.
